I am doing research for a book and am trying to locate the notebooks and correspondence of Rev. George Henry Gould who was born in Oakham Ma. in 1827 and died in Worcester, Ma in 1899. A graduate of Amherst College 1850), he was a pastor in Worcester. He was married to Ellen M. Grout in 1862. They had an adopted daughter Grace B. Gould.
His notebooks were last known to exist in 1930 when they were cited in Genevieve Taggard's book, The Life and Mind of Emily Dickinson.
Can anyone help?
