Gould, William Monroe, b. 1817

I've never found anything on William Monroe Gould's parents. He was married twice: 1. Jennet L. Morgan; 2. Jane McIntyre. His daughters - Hellen, Edna, and Mary - were born of Jennet. When Jennet died - 1850 or 1851 - the children's widowed aunt, Jane McIntyre, and her three little girls went to live with them. Jane was the widow of his brother, Jerome. On 10/16/1853 in Chester Township, Jane and William were wed. That made Aunt Jane their stepmother and the cousins became step-sisters. On 07/26/1856 a baby brother was born and he became a half brother to all the little girls. His name was Rodoski Ellsworth Gould, named after a Russian minister. By 1865 William and the family had moved to Fillmore County, Minnesota.

If you think this may connect with anything you have I would appreciate hearing from you.
