Anita, I will post whatever I recieve relating to your quest:

"Thought it best to answer off list as it may not be the same family. There are many McGoughs in Butts county (next door). But the name has the "Mc" before the Gough. Have some in my family of Bankstons.

Can give you these McGoughs information if you think it might be the same family. Names really got mixed up in the early years."
