Anita, I have many John Norrises and Cecelia Goughs but none that are married to each other. The Norrises and Goughs are Maryland Catholic families. Were your folks Catholic? Although most of the emigrating Catholics from Maryland moved to Kentucky, there was also a movement of some of the Maryland Catholic famlies to Georgia around 1800. Do you know the parents of John? What were their children's names? Please provide whatever else that you know about John and Cecelia: ages, children's name, parent's names, etc. Perhaps something will connec them.
