In my Great Grandfather's (William Columbus Patton) obituary, George Ross Patton and Amanda Ellen Gough, from Groesbeck (Limestone Co.), Texas, are listed as his parents . William was born on August 30, 1880, in Springtown, Parker County, Texas
An estimated birth date for his parents would be around 1855. William died on March 10, 1966 in Roff, Oklahoma (Pontotoc,County). Further, the obituary states that William came from Kosse,(Limestone Co), Texas, to Roff in 1894 (at the age of 14).
