As you can tell from the various entries on this forum, there is a sizeable problem among us regarding the original country of Gossard heritage - as well as "same name" problems.

You asked, in your email to me, whether your Gosser and my Gossard are just spelling differences. I think they probably are just that, because of the variety most of us have encountered. I retain the actual spelling I find for each ancestor, but use Gossard on my FTM, just so I don't have to search thru all the G's in my index to find a particular one, i.e. John (Gosser) Gossard.

Based on your information, I could find no relationship yet between you and me. When I checked the LDS web page, though, I found a gentleman from California had submitted an ancestry consistant with the information you furnished me, and might be a better contact for you. If your mother's mother's maiden name was Oswald, you and he have a definite fit.
