This information may help you, my greatgrandfather, Nicholaus Joseph Roberts, is buried in Wayne Twp. cemetery, Duncan Falls, Ohio in Muskingum Co. You can hardly read the insription on his tombstone. Next to his tombstone is another one with all these names and dated inscribed. First is Sarah, beloved wife died 11-18-1884 born 6-3-1820 John J. Roberts d. 4-13-1885 b. 10-19-1809 Micholaus Cossage d. 7-3-1877 b. 11-3-1781 Note: on the stone and a smaller stone the name is spelled Cossage. On the small stone it is N.C. No Cossage found in 1810 VA. census. These two names Nicholaus and William Cossage. Also family tree shows Abraham in Morgan Co. Ohio married to a Margaret Cossage. On the stone is Eliza A. Roberts, Dau. of JJ & S Roberts b. 1-5-1859 d. 6-23-1880. Do not know yet if John is the father of my Nicholaus or not.

In my Grandmother's writings of the family tree is these names with my ggrandfather's
brothers- John, Bazel, Wayle, Reason sisters Susan m. Hartman, Mary m. Jewell, Jemima m. Kirkwood, Eliza m. Shaver, another sister that I suspect is named Margaret m. Ellwell She talks of one of these brothers moving to "Iway" one to Oklahoma.

Now the story is that three brothers came up the Muskingum River on a boat, one gets off on Morgann Co., one got off in Muskingum Co, and the third went to Stark Co. I have a strong feeling that three brothers were Abraham, John J. and a third that could have been a William. If any of this is your line I have a lot more.
