I believe I am related to Eliza F. Goss, who may have married John M. Hancock and who, together, may be the parents of Ellen Sophia (Hancock) Babbitt. The Goss family probably came from Vermont, especially the Hardwick area. They would have been born in the early- to mid-1800s. I would like to know about the Goss and the Hancock family, as I can find little about this part of my ancestry.
