No, I don't have a Goss line, I was just sharing something sent me-(and gave source) many years ago. I have the Causey.
And I was looking up something for someone who posted a note on the two George Washington Warren
George 1795-1852 married Feraby Goss 1819-SC-1851
George 14 Aug 1824-19 APr 1883 married Biddy Matilda Carter b 26 May 1834 Ga.
George who married biddy-son ofJoseph M Warren & Nancy Davidson
Grandson of Joseph who also had James
The earlier George looks like he might be a son ofthis same Joseph 1776 Va d aft 1819 who also had James born Edgefield SC d 1840 Irwin Co Ga m Sarah Stidman.
I do have the Warren's further back. (And connections to them in Ga...such as Lingo)
The note actually was:
I'll begin by quoting all references to George Washington or G.W. Warren made in the "History of Stewart County, Georgia" volume II. The references in Volume II are as follows:
Pg. 68 George Washington Warren marries Biddy M Carter July 12, 1849
Pg. 215 (1850 census) G.W. and Biddy W. Warren are 25 yrs and 17 yrs respectively.
Pg. 225 (1850 census) Feraby Warren and her children are living next door to Stephen and Abi Goss (her parents.)
Pg. 396 Poplar Springs Primitive Baptist Church cemetery George W Warren Aug 14, 1824; Apr 3, 1883
Bidy Carter wife Geo Washington Warren b May 26, 1824
Pg. 466 Carter Family Bible
Bidy Carter m Jan 22, 1818 George Washington Warren
Bidy Carter b.Dec 10, 1796
Pg. 467 Josiah Carter Family Bible
Children of Josiah Carter and Violator Beasley Dyess
Biddy Matilda Carter b May 26, 1834
Pg. 595 Day Ledger of Richard J. Snelling Store (Apr. 1849-Dec. 1849) G.W. Warren p.58
Pg. 798 The Goss Family History
Feraby Goss (daughter of Zachariah and Abi Goss) b 1819; m. George Washington Warren
On the same page it says that Abi Barjamin Goss (daughter of Zachariah Goss and Susannah Scott, granddaughter of Prescott Bush, R.S.)b. 1853 m James P Ellis Warren (son of George Washington Warren and Biddy Matilda Carter.)
Clear as mud, right.
If indeed the above information is true, then there were three, maybe four George Washington Warrens in Stewart County, Georgia that spanned three, maybe four generations. How they are connected, I have yet to prove. But one married Bidy Carter in 1818. One (possibly the same) married Feraby Goss in about 1840. One (son of Joseph Warren) married Biddy Matilda Carter in 1849. And one was the son of Feraby Goss and George Washington Warren, born about 1849.
I don't show that George Washington Warren and Biddy Matilda Carter had a daughter named Abi. I do show that their son, James Paul Ellis Warren married Abi Barjamin Goss, who was Feraby Goss's neice. Please advise.

And it interested me-because of several names I already had on my data base, and I checked out a few of them for this person.
