Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Dear Tim,
Welcome to the Gosney Clan! So much easier than trying to research Johnson-- believe me :-)
I'm actually not even a Gosney. My great grandmother was Matilda Tutt who married Sanford Sherman Shackelford. Her sister Melissa married Charles Gosney. Do you have the Wolfe County, KY history books published by the Women's Commitee? They are fabulous, and both books contain the name Gosney.
