My grandmother Bessie was the daughter of George W Gosnell of Licking Ohio and Emma (Sturdy) Gosnell. George was descended from Abraham Gosnell 1804 of Huntington PA who was married to Elizabeth ? and later Margaret Armstrong.
Bessie was an author of children's stories published in Boy's Life in addition to other periodicals. Bessie married Daniel Cyrus Stager and lived her final days in Vancouver WA. I would love to know more about her stories and life.
