Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I agree since Robert Burk was murdered on June 18, 1865 in Russell Co., VA. Robert was the 7th child of Fleming Burk, Sr. The line is traced back to John Burk, the immigrant from England to VA in 1650, in the book by Greever, Hockett, Verbal, and Stevenson "Some Decendants of John Burk (1656-1699) Middlesex County, VA" (Iberial Publishing Company, Athens, GA 1999).
