My great great grandmother is Lucinda Gose. I have seen various Birth Dates for her such as 1828, 1835 and 1839. I believe she was born in Morgan County, Ky in 1839. She married John Culbertson, again I have two different dates one is 1849 and the other is 1860. Lucinda parents are said to be Henry Gose and Elizabeth Barker. Henry's father is John Gose, son of the immigrant Stephen Gose. John and Lucinda had three sons that I know of and they are William H. Culbertson, John M. Culbertson, and Stephen C. Culbertson. Stephen is my great grandfather. William, John, and Stephen were all married in Wise County, Virginia John and William both married in 1889. Stephen married first time to Luema Green (my great grandmother) in 1876; the second time to Sarah E. Monroe in 1902. These marriage dates I have came from the marriage records at the Wise County Courthouse! Does anyone have Lucinda Gose in their family that can help me clear up some of these conflicting dates.
