Dear Kathy,
My grandfather came to Detroit in the early 1900's.I don't know why, but I can't seem to remember his name right now.I think it was Joseph. My grandmother's name was Mary and they lived on Wesson near Livernois across the street from St. Francis of Asissi church. They lived there until they died (my grandfather in 1969 or 1970 and my grandmother in 1985) Their children's names are Helen, Walter, Raymond, Angie and Henry (my dad). All except for Walter (who died in 1988) still live in the Detroit area.I don't know if this is of any help.My dad knows alot more about our family history than I do.Let me know if you'd like his e-mail address.Good Luck!
