Robert Gorrell of MD and Tyler Co, VA/WV 1747-1821

I am looking for anyone related to the family of Robert Gorrell, who was born (in MD?) about 1747 and died in Tyler County, now WV, about 1821.

My lineage from Robert is: Robert, Ralph, Ralph, Granville, Ethel, my Father (Harper Grimm), me.

Robert married Susannah Smith, daughter of Thomas Smith, an innkeeper and ferry owner on the Susquehanna River near Chesapeake Bay. Robert, Susannah, and a number of her brothers lived along Smith Creek, south of Waynesburg, PA, from about 1776 until the indians quieted down about 1800, then moved to the Tyler/Pleasants County area of what was VA, and now is WV.
