Hi Maureen -- Are you a daughter of Joe and a sister to Tom Gormley in Potomac, MD? (I'm his brother-in-law.) If so, I have some information on your line, though I can't say it is well documented or researched. Tom has tracked some of this but keeps it rather close, and Tom's (and your?) brother Joe has been on the web a bit sharing information.
