Searching for information on a distant Martin cousin, her husband, and family. Mamie Lee Martin, b. ca Sep 1895 (probably Calhoun County, Arkansas), d. when/where?. Mamie Lee Martin was the d/o George Isaac Martin and Sarah Eve (Sally) Blackstock of Calhoun County, Arkansas.
She is supposed to have married Ben Gorman.
I have no further information on Ben other than he was a "boarder, age of 23" in the HH of Lum Blackstock on the 21 Apr 1910 Calhoun Co., AR, census record. In the same HH was Lum's sister, Sarah Martin, and her 5 children, one of whom was 13-year old Mamie Lee.
Mamie had three sisters: Vercie Ann m. Robert Pittman; Maude Mae m. Sim Boyd Young, Sr.; and Minnie Parotine m. Clifton Clary Reddin. She only had one brother, George Fredrick Martin, and I have no further info on him at this time.
Any information would be appreciated and I am willing to share my data.
