DNA

All,

Having just gone through the process, I can really attest to what an interesting and fun addition to the study of genealogy DNA testing is. If you have ever thought about it, the technology has realy advanced and there are more people doing it. This last part is important because the more people that do it, the larger the database, the greater chance of connecting and breaking down brickwalls.

My interests in posting this are purely selfish as I'd like more Gorman males (sorry, the ladies don't carry a Y chromosome to enable surname studies, but there is a maternal DNA test) to add their results. If you've ever considered doing it, make sure you do it under the guise of a surname study (like Gorman) and you'll save $50 with Family Tree DNA.
