I was wondering if any body could help me or had any informantion on this family.
I was born LoriAnn Gorman in Sep 1969 in PA. My Father was John Francis Gorman II born 28 Mar 1944 in Co., died 20 Nov 1997 in PA and is buried in Waverly, NY. MY mother is still living.
My grand father was Leo Francis Gorman born 11 Jan 1913 in Athens, Bradford Co., PA and died 23 Aug 1991 in Waverly, Tioga Co., NY. His wife was Elise Charlotte Wagner and she is still living in Waverly.
His Father was John Francis Gorman born 15 May 1888 or 1889 in NY and died 16 Apr 1973. His Wife was Margaret L. Connor born 1888 and died 25 Mar 1951 Waverly, Tioga Co., NY. (Her Father was George A. Conner. Unknow if this is Leo's mother or his step mother.)
John's father was also John Gorman born Dec 1866 in PA (unknown town) was married to Mary M. Donough born july 1868 RI. Her mother was Mary McDonough born Sep 1840 Ireland (Her father was also born in Ireland along with John's parents)
Do not know when they came over or to what port.
