I'm very new to researching genealogy, but I've managed to pull together some info online. Missing a couple important pieces though, and I'm wondering if anyone can help (or direct me to someone that might?).
Here's what I believe is correct:
Matthias Gorham b. 1749 (wife Dorcas Crowell) had a son:
William Gorham b.1788 (wife Rachel Wilcox) who had a son:
John Wilcox Gorham b.1821 (wife Amanda Melvina Wright) who had a son:
Fred Elmer Gorham b.1864 (wife Kate Gertrude Wilder) who had a daughter:
Beth Jennet Gorham b.1891 (husband Royal Alfred Carman) who had a daughter:
Helen Mabel Carman b.1923 (husband Wallace Gordon Bascom) - my grandparents
All were within the New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts area.
I am particularly looking for evidence (birth, marriage, death certificates?) of *William Gorham* and his son, *John Wilcox Gorham*. These are the two that I'm having difficulty with. It's possible that this info is incorrect, but I've seen others online listing them in this family line the same way I have.
If I can help you out with any of your research I'd be happy to do that.
Thanks for any info you can give.
