Thank you for the information on the GORGAS surname. Wonder why so many Greek GORGAS in Germany? Our link is through a Fredericka HERMANN who was married to a Fredrich GORGAS in the mid 1800's. She came from Saxony, Germany. They had at least one son, Fred GORGAS, born February 10, 1865. She and son were in Washington Co., TX where she married 2nd, Gottlieb WENDT, also from Germany on July 2, 1874. Have no information on the GORGAS line other than that. Fred GORGAS (son) died in McLennan Co., TX. Fredericka died November 23, 1921 in TX. JBrown
