Hi all,

I just found the Will of Elizabeth Goree of 1788 that mentioned some of her children. I have read that her husband James also left a Will in 1784. Iwas wondering if anyone had that Will and what names did that Will mention. The Will of Elizabeth mentioned sons: James Manning, Clement, Michal,John Ashford, Joshua, and Eleazer and daughters Mary Sanders Easterwood and Elizabeth Noland. She also mentions Sarah Wornell but doesn't name her as a daughter but does mention a grand-daughter Sarah Wornell is that the same Sarah. I have read that James mentioned other daughters in his Will namely a Sarah Wornell.

This Elizabeth and James doesn't appear to be my ancestor but what is interesting they have some names that appears in my line. My line is Mary Jane Gore that may have been a daughter of Thomas Gore and Elizabeth Allison.
Mary Jane Gore was married to a Richard Wornel, The apparently had a son Mannig Skaggs and possibly a brother Manning and the the name Clement is real interesting. I descend from Mary Jane Gore daughter Eleanor that married Elisha Glass. She is buried in the Hickey Cemetary in Hill County Texas. Her Tombstone reads Eleanor Glass Gore Taylor Clements. I 'm not sure how the Clement name refers to. I know the Glass his her maiden name, Gore is her mother maiden name, Taylor is the name that her son John Maning Glass said that Elenor was before marriage but what about the name Clement.
