The following is a transcript of the Commission to the Five Civilized Tribes, Atoka, Indian Territory dated December 5, 1899. I will type it verbatim in part:

"In the enrollment of Minnie L. Gore as a Choctaw; William H. Harrison, being sworn and examined by Com'r McKennon States:

Q. What is your name? A. William H. Harrison
Q. How old are you? A. Forty-eight.
Q. Do you know John Gore? A. Yes sir.
Q. Do you know his child Minnie Lee? A. Yes Sir.
Q. John Gore is a Choctaw Indian citizen? A. Yes sir.
Q. His wife, the mother of Minnie Lee, was a white woman?
A. Yes sir."

These testimony depositions were given by those knowing of the applicant's Indian Blood in order for them to be placed on the Choctaw Dawes Roll.

Does anyone know of this Gore Family who resided in Oklahoma? Clydene
