Seeking additional information and/or documentation on the descendents of Bammie Jane GORE who married Leven Thomas SALLEE on 04 December 1904 at Igo, Marion Township, Ozark County, MO.
Bammie Jane GORE was born 18 April 1884 at Seymour, Webster County, MO; and died 25 April 1943 Amarillo, Potter County, TX; the daughter of Isaac Jackson "Jack" GORE (05 November 1851-03 February 1931) and Amelia Jane HELMS (18 March 1865-25 February 1958) who were married on 10 August 1881. The family moved to Indian Territory in the early 1900s.
Leven Thomas SALLEE was born 04 December 1883 Igo, Marion Twp., Ozark County, MO; died 09 May 1943 Amarillo, Potter County, TX; the son of James Henry SALLEE (10 April 1833-06 April 1916) and his second wife, Emerine May (Martin) NAVE (20 March 1842-05 April 1925), the widow of Nathan Asa NAVE and the daughter of William "Perry" MARTIN and Martha "Patsy" QUICK.
The family moved to Indian Territory (Oklahoma) in the early 1900s.
Six children:
1. William Everett SALLEE (29 March 1906-13 October 1938) married Ethyl YOUNGBLOOD.
2. James "Ralph" SALLEE (22 October 1909-27 December 1949) married Ida Mae BARRETT in January 1929.
3. Ola Blanche SALLEE (11 February 1911-09 March 1911).
4. Lee Gore SALLEE (22 July 1914-24 December 2002) married Catherine Lorene BURKE.
5. Reta Mae SALLEE (03 October 1917-24 August 1989) married Robert Daniel MEEKS on 06 March 1937.
6. Bammie "Bell" SALLEE born 05 March 1921 and died ?; married Amon L. SCOTT.
