Hoping you can help with some information that I am trying to track down for a distant MYRICK relative whom is also a member of the GORDY family group.
Is the Solomon GORDY that you speak of and his wife, Rebecca, the same Solomon GORDY in the 1900 census living in Ochlocknee, Thomas County, Georgia, with wife, Rebecca or Rebbecca, who was 20 years younger than he.
Hugh GORDY is in the family household as are Dellie BODIFORD and Callie BODIFORD.
Dellie Mae BODIFORD is the grandmother of Andrew Joseph MYRICK and I'm trying to find out how it is that she is a BODIFORD with Reb(b)ecca as her mother. It would appear that Reb(b)ecca must have been previously of the maiden name of BODIFORD or having been married previously to a man named BODIFORD but I can't find anything so far.
Would you have any information on that.
Dellie Mae BODIFORD married Andrew Jackson MYRICK.
