I'm a FULTON hunter seeking the identity of "John Gordon, merchant of Philadelphia" who patented on 23 May 1796 (PA Patent Book 27, p 516) land in South Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland Co, PA.
The following month, 17 Jun 1796, Gordon transferred two town lots to Isaac Robb, founder of "Robbstown," now called West Newton.
