I'm seeking information on the Gordon family line from William Martin Gordon(bn 3/20/1812 Ohio/d 2/3/1890 Iowa m. Deborah Mendenhall Wayne, Indiana 4/29/1832). I've been coming up with Robert Gordon and Elinor Meigory as parents with no further info. This is contradicted in part by written info provided by WMG's daughter Esther Gordon-Frame. She states that this Gordon line came to America from Scotland in 1720. She says her grandmother came from Northern Ireland and was a McGary. I have other info that says they first lived in Pennsylvania befor moving to Indiana via Ohio. Help please!
