Joan, I found the Maryland Calander of Wills at our Historical Society. There are 10 or 12 volumes, I went through all of them and here is what I came up with. There was a Jonathan Goosey in Chas. Co. (I haven't looked to see what the actual name is yet.) dates were 11-22-1700 and 1-17-1700. Listed his wife as Martha, but no children were given. This was in Vol. 2. None of the others listed an actual Goosey name. In the book Early Settlers of Maryland I found mention of a Lawrence Goosey, transported 1670 (pg 188) and a Thomas Gose, transported 1676 with wife Ann (pg 188). There were a number of Gosse and Goslee mentioned also. One spelling of the name was Goozey and one was Gooz. There were several other will books besides those that I also went through, some of the other spellings came from those books. I didn't find anything to lead me to think it might be the father of Peter Goosey. Vicci
