While the lineage shown in my previous post could possibly still be correct, it now seems more likely that the lineage was instead:
1 Philemon Childers "I" (a nephew of the Abraham Childers "I" who was shown in my earlier post) and Mary Evans
2 Thomas Childers and Mary Holmes, Mary Cannon or Mary Milner (some show Thomas as the husband of all three women)
3 John Childers and Mary Royal/Royall
4 Henry Childers (born about 1730) and Susannah Goolsby.
5 Goolsby Childers (among other children of Henry and Susannah)
By the way, Abraham Childers "I" was born about 1613 versus the 1682 that I accidentally showed in my earlier post.
The above lineage seems more likely, based on a close examination of the 60+ male DNA donors whose DNA places them in this overall Childers family. There seems to be a good "DNA demarcation" between the male Childers donors who are out of Abraham Childers "I" versus the donors who are out of the related Philemon Childers "I."
