Thank you for the death dates....I'm still trying to tie how I fit into this family. You said you were a novice with genealogy...a trick with illegible tombstones...sometimes using kid's street chalk will uncover some of the raised areas and make it readable. Other take shaving cream and a squeegee...the creams get into the depressions and make it readable. Then take a picture...it becomes as good as the original death document.
Take pics of the cemetery if there are signs stating the name: ie, Goodwine Cemetery. If you do take pictures of the graves...I would like a copy and I'll pay for them. If you find any other tidbit...let me know. Again thanks
