I am looking for information on an Adam Goodwin who married Mary Stanley in the late 1850's in White County Ill. I am trying to learn more about her and also when he was born and passed away. I know she was married to a Van winkle and a Stanley before him. These marriages were mid 1840 to early 1850's. Family verbal history has her as an Adkins, Atkins or Aiken but the marriage cert to van winkle shows Carr. Any help or ideas on how to proceed will be greatly appreciated.
