Searching for any connections to Henry R. Goodwin.
Henry R. Goodwin born 1840 in Graves Co. Ky. enlisted
Confederate Army in Scott Co. Arkansas while living
near Parks Arkansas. They lived in Pulaski Co Ark.
after the Civil War and by 1880 moved to Lonoke Co.
Ark. His mother Susanna West joined the family from
Ky. Susannah Goodwin West born 1817 Va. married to
William Goodwin in 1839. Susannah married John West
who died prior to 1870. After 1880 and prior to 1900
Henry and family moved to Scott Co. Ark.. Henry's wife
Mary had died and by 1909 Henry moved to Faulkner Co.
Ark. to live with his son William J. Goodwin. His
pension being sent there in Faulkner County until he
moved to Beebe Ark in White County Ark. His pension
checks stopped after Sept 1920/ July 1921. Susannah
West died in Scott Co. Ark (assumed she is buried
at Parks Cemetery)
