Moses Goodwin – Missing after an argument
Born approximately in 1825 in England. He came to the US approximately in 1861. Either on the boat or shortly after landing in New England, USA, he married Jane Smithwick of Ireland. They lived in New Hampshire for a time, while making the voyage to Iowa.
They landed in Northeast Iowa (around Nashua, Iowa), then onto Correctionville, Iowa in 1869.
After a fight with his wife in approximately 1873, Moses fled, never to be heard from again. Therefore, little is known of him.
If you know anything about him prior to his marriage to Jane or after, please let me know!
