Elizabeth Goodson is probably the daughter of Benjmin Goodson and first wife Elizabeth Cook. Benj. Goodson's 2nd marriage was to Emily Dorothy Mills.
Benj. Goodson was born in 1751 (In NC was in SC then in Miss. Was in Lawrence Co. Miss by 1818. Elizabeth Cook had died by that time. He was in Lawrence Co. for some time, then he and Emily Dorothy Mill Goodson went to Homer, Claiborne Parish, La. Where, having lived to be 100 years old) he died in 1851. He had more than 20 children. Benj. Goodson's parents were Rachel Ratcliff and James Goodson. Jas. Goodson died young and Rachel married a Butler. Mr. Butler had 3 sons.

I am connected through a gr. gr. great Aunt to the Goodsons.
