The following is what I have on the Samuel Goodrich family of Sandy Creek. His daughter, Survigh, was my direct ancestor. I have Samuel Goodrich's ancestry if you don't already have it and are interested. I have not followed up on his children, other than Survigh. Your dates for Samuel Goodrich Sr. in your query seem to have suffered typos. Unfortunately, the list I have of Samuel's children does not contain an Elizabeth, but I don't claim it's totally accurate or complete, either. More info on your Elizabeth Goodrich would be helpful. 1. SAMUEL4 GOODRICH (PHINEAS3, WILLIAM2, BARTHOLOMEW1) was born 21 July 1765 in Branford, Connecticut, and died 07 July 1852 in Sandy Creek, Oswego Co., New York. He married MARY JOHNSON 16 September 1786 in Branford, Connecticut. Notes for SAMUEL GOODRICH: According to family tradition, and mentioned in a 1901 letter from Flora Hollister, daughter of Charles Hollister of Ellisburg and his 2nd wife, Pleuma Eddy, to Margaret Ramsdell, granddaughter of Charles, Charles' father-in-law Samuel Goodrich served in the Revolutionary War, driving a wagon at the battle of White Plains. No official record has been found to verify this information. Children of SAMUEL GOODRICH and MARY JOHNSON are: 2. i. SURVIGH5 GOODRICH, b. 12 December 1788, Connecticut; d. 21 February 1838, Ellisburg, Jefferson Co., New York. ii. POLLY GOODRICH. iii. SAMUEL GOODRICH. iv. WILLIAM GOODRICH. v. CHAUNCY GOODRICH. vi. ALMIRA GOODRICH. vii. ELECTA GOODRICH. viii. EUNICE GOODRICH. Notify Administrator about this message?
