the mormon site has a Vollenweider as the father of Jacob Goodpasture, with the three prior generations of vollenweiders listed as vollenweider.....and the site lists Jacob as being born in 1710.....I forgett where, now, but I also saw a listing of a Jacob Goodpasture in Wales circa 1710.....it coud be he came from Switzerland to Virginia via Wales. How can you trace the Vollenweiders back to the 1400's...?
