Hi Susan...now your talking my language:) I mentioned several years ago to the late John D. Goodner of CA, that I thought Peter & Conrads ages were too spread apart to have the same mother, or there must have been other children. I then mentioned that perhaps Peter's name was John Peter:)
Well dear John called me prime time from California to find out just what kind of Genealogist I was and whether or not I even knew what the family was all about. So I sent him documentation about "Peter's" son Jacob, that he ,John, had never seen and it never appeared in his revised book, printed in 1992. That's life, I guess.
William Doub Bennett's book: Orange County Records Volume XIII, inventories & accounts of sales 1758-1785 mentions John Sr. & John Jr. both at the estate sale of Frederick Albert in October court of 1771. No mention of a Peter, altho he would have been 21 at least according to Lacey. Estate sales were very well attended by the community...so where is Peter????
So many questions...so little time
