Looking for information on Pleasant R. Goodman born in McNairy County, Tennessee abt. 1831 (according to his Civil War service record). He was in the Big Flat, Arkansas area prior to the Civil War and died during the conflict leaving a widow, Polly Beavers Goodman and a baby, my ggrandfather, William Riley Goodman. Pleasant may have been in Mississippi for a while. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to identify his parents or siblings except for a Richard Goodman who was a neighbor in Arkansas who I believe may have been a brother.
