Think this maybe Daniel Goodman B:abt.1714 Philadelphia Pa.
wife Hannah B: abt.1714 Phil. Pa.
Found one child Hannah B;1734/33 Phil. Pa. D: 21 Nov. 1797 buried Second Presbetarian Church Phil. Pa.
This would have been church Gilbert Tennent preached at.
Researching this find The first "Great Awakening" was the precursor to War of Independance and the 2nd "Great Awakening" was the precusor to the Civil War.
Gilbert Tennents father William Tennent B:1703 Ireland D:1764 Phil. Pa. started the "Log College" cause that is what it was built of and, it was precursor to Princeton University.
Still would like to find more info on Daniel Goodman and family, wonder if Mary Goodman (name written inside cover of book "Tennents Sermons") is Daniel's mother perhaps are a relative? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Linda
