Bob...this is the right family.Walter "Bruce" Goodloe did have a son named Edward Anthony, who Walter named after his brother.
This Edward Anthony (E. A.) Goodloe was b. 3 Oct 1894 d. Aug. 1864 (poss. in Nashville).According to the "Goodloe
Genealogy", he never md.I found him living with Walter B. & Maud Goodloe in 1930 as a single man.
What would be helpful is when he and "Virginia" were md.He could have married later in life and the info in the Goodloe book could be in error if Paul Goodloe had not made contact with family to give him info further than 1930.
I found the family in 1900 also in Humphreys Co., TN.Going backwards, in 1880 in Nashville, W.B. Goodloe is living w/his parents (Harvel and Mary). In 1870, they are in Warren Co., NC and in 1860, they are in Washington, D.C.
Hope this helps more.
