There continues to be a great deal of confusion on these 3 individuals. I have no details on Henry & Hetty other than the census info that would make them twins if they were indeed two different individuals, one male & one female. No one has previously proposed that Henry & Hetty were the same person due to the different sex but in a census, anything can happen. I do have a great deal of information on Henderson so I believe he is "real". However, I've seen other family tree info on this family that has the "Henderson" information noted for "Henry". I'm willing to bet that this comes from the fact that Henderson did call himself Henry, at least in later years.

If I had to guess, I'd say that Henry & Hetty were twins that both died as children/infants. Henderson may have gotten the similar moniker as a "memorial" to Henry. Of course this is pure speculation.
