I am from Australia and have been in UK for some weeks on holiday. This week I spent a day in Maidstone searching Parish Registers in a vain hope of finding my ggf who is not listed in the indexes. I have nothing more than that WFG was born in Kent (parish unknown) on 8 Sep 1840. He left UK in his late teens and married in Newcastle, Aust. If anybody can offer help it would be appreciated.
