My G grandfather was also a William from Swanton street Bredgar, in the post office directory for Essex Kent of 1855 he is listed as a grocer/cheesemonger,he's third child was Thomas the 1891 census has him as a draper any relation? the Goodhew's in Capetown and Randburg are also related to this line
