I visited them about 1954 when they lived in Ardmore, OK. Alma was my grandfather's sister. She was born March 4, 1891 in Selma, Alabama. She died Oct 9,1971 in Claude, Texas. Hippy Hill as Monroe was known was a cowboy. My and cousins would sing a diddy about Hip. "If I don't get killed, I want to be a cowboy like Hippy Hill." Hope this is of help and would be glad to tell you more.
