d. butler advertised in the good old days magazine issue oct 2007 that he is looking for other goodfellows.
He said his ggrandfather,James at 18, left ireland for calif. gold mines , worked as a miner at 8 yrs old. Wife Amelia Bettes, was canadian, wanted to know if there were any descendants in ireland??
MacViginn, MacGuigan are irish anglicized forms of goodfellow name.
