Hi everyone: Some time ago I found an old newspaper article on the web entitled "Two runaway boys see Paris." This was in June 1900 when Elmo E. GOODFELLOW and Harry DUNKEL ran away from their homes in Springfield, Ohio, stowed away on the steamship "Minneapolis," arrived in London, then crossed the Channel to Paris to see the Exposition. Though virtually penniless, they were very enterprising, and the article is very entertaining. I figure the boys were about 14 or 15 years old. Does any one have this Elmo GOODFELLOW in his or her family? I surely wish I could claim him, but so far no luck. But I would like to know to which Goodfellow family he belongs. If anyone would like a copy of the article, let me know. Elizabeth Goodfellow Engle Notify Administrator about this message?
