An older cousin (now 91) told me TJ Goode was named after -The- Thomas Jefferson who was related to TJ Goode's mother some how. Have you heard about this? This might be interesting in your book, if true. Oh, the stories we have in Lavaca Co. Tx! I, too, am writing a book and want to verify what is true. It is quite difficult. My book isn't just Goode, but a little bit of everyone and history. So no competition between us!
