Thanks, Don. Hezekiah is a hard one to find proof for that the DAR will accept. I am looking for an "official" paper that has him listed as Thomas' son. Thom's will only had a few children listed, as he had already disbursed most goods. I keep wondering if there was another will that listed the others. Back in MS he is listed in places with other children, however Hezekiah married, and eventually moved to Texas. We have always heard that Hezekiah died in Bell Co, but we have not found a grave or other record. If you know of one, please let me know. We know he was last living with daughter (Mary?) Northington and son in law John Northington.
I can't find anything on the Northingtons children!
I will put the word out on your book. My 3rd great grandmother Martha Hawkins Knox was married to Hezekiah's son Obadiah Goode. So I am in the Goode line!
