I can only answer part of the question you asked. The book Virginia Cousins, by George Brown Goode is now part of the public domain and can be downloaded to your computer for free through Google books. If you perform a Google Search requesting Virginia Cousins, you will see a selection titled; Virginia Cousins: A Study of Ancestry and Posterity of John...-Google Books Result. Select this title and download a PDF file of the entire book to your computer, Or you can save the URL and refer to ant and all pages of this book often as you would like. If you can find the book to buy it is usually close to $40.00 or more. In these times it's nice to have FREE for your research. As others have spoken from time to time, this book is not the gospel for the Goode family, it has errors and mistakes about relationship connections throughout the book and any information taken should be researched and verified. However it is a great book to review as a census for the Goode's living at the time it was printed in 1887. The computerization of records and the Internet have allowed us the privilege of doing much more accurate research today than Dr. Goode had at the time. Goode Luck with your research!
