I took a look at the Rootsweb genealogy page and didn't see any inputs with your name on them, but did see a lot of possibilities for GOODE. Suggest you might want to look into them. URL for any message board for any name is:
<http://boards.rootsweb.com/>
After you (or your son) open it, you enter GOODE in the box and it should take you to the GOODE message forum. You can further refine these by searching for first names, places, etc. (Click the GOODE board button to limit the search. You can also sign up to get all the GOODE messages automatically.
